In partnership with Upfront Merch & Bass Education Inc., we are honored to announce the recipient of the 2023 Grit Scholarship Award to Broderick Windham. Brody represents the BASS Class of 2019, from which he promoted with a 3.62 GPA. He will be graduating from Norco High School, where he lettered in football with a 4.05 GPA. Brody will be attending Saddleback Community College in the fall, after which, he plans to continue his athletic and academic career at a 4-year college to study kinesiology.
Brody represents many of the tangible and intangible qualities BASS values. As a young student-athlete Brody had to work tremendously hard during his time at BASS. He often reflects back on how challenging that year was for him. He has continued to apply that work ethic through his high school years to become a standout student-athlete.
Congratulations! Brody, we can never say for certain what the future holds, but what we do know is that you’ll need to keep learning, keep growing, and more importantly, stay gritty.
